Registered Healthcare Professional – Supervision

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

Last year, thousands of people stepped forward to offer their time and skills to support NHS England’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign. Because of them we were able to roll out primary vaccinations to millions, saving thousands of lives and making the connections we value possible once more.

With the emergence of the Omicron variant, the vaccination programme was ramped up further. But while millions of booster vaccinations have already been administered, there's still much work to done. So join us now and you too could play a crucial role in protecting the connections that matter to us all. We are fully committed to providing the widest opportunities for skilled training and development as soon as you join the vaccine programme. Many people who are part of the programme have now begun a new career in the NHS across a huge variety of roles-over 11,500 people have stayed with us in paid jobs or training programmes.

It will also be your responsibility to supervise the reconstitution and drawing up of vaccines, ensuring each activity is recorded, as well as post-vaccination observations, responding to any emergencies as appropriate.
